Coca Cola has been associated with the Olympics since 1928, but Coke also sponsors a host of other sporting events including Wimbledon, the Football and Rugby World Cups.

The Fifa World Cup will take place in Russia a total of 32 teams participating to become the Football’s world champion. The FIFA World Cup trophy, introduced in 1974, is made of 18 karat gold with a malachite base, it stands 36.8 centimetres high and weighs 6.1 kilograms.

The trophy will be travelling to 91 cities and 51 countries. This trophy tour will be the longest domestic FIFA trophy tour in the history. Pakistan is one of the countries that will be seeing the trophy live. Pakistan Football Federation(PFF) was suspended by FIFA over third party interference. Coca Cola is a playing a major role in creating a soft image of Pakistan by doing a trophy launch here because even though PFF will not to participating but their name will be there. This is a golden opportunity for PFF to make a comeback in the next FIFA world cup. The trophy will arrive in Pakistan on 3rd February and its expected that the launch will take place in Lahore. This is an exciting news for football lovers.

Even though hockey is the National sport of Pakistan and cricket is the most cherished sport in Pakistan but we have a large number of population who love football. Football has not been able to establish its grounds in Pakistan because we do not have much professional trainers or football institutions where people can train themselves like we have of cricket. But with the passage of time football is trying to establish its grounds in Pakistan. we also have institutions opening where the teenagers are going to train themselves.

We believe that if in future football grows in Pakistan Coca Cola will be the biggest Influence.
