Order to deport Ali Amin Gandapur district

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has been ordered to be removed from Badar District by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) during the second phase of local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Ordered to deport the district.

According to the notification issued by the Election Commission, the Chief Election Commission has given direct orders to the Chief Secretary and Inspector General (IG) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to remove Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur from Badar District. Ali Amin Gandapur should not be allowed to enter any district in the second phase of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) local body elections, including the Dera Ismail Khan elections, to ensure compliance with ethics and implementation of Section 181 of the Local Council Election Act 2017.

This is not the first time that the Election Commission has taken action against Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur during the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) local body elections. The commission had warned Ali Amin Gandapur that in case of repeated violation of the code of conduct, disqualification proceedings could be initiated.

It may be recalled that during the elections of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in July 2021, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur was banned from participating in election rallies and speeches by the Election Commission on behalf of Azad Kashmir Election Commission Secretary Sardar Muhammad Ghazanfar. A letter was sent to Shakeel Qadir Khan, chief secretary of the valley, directing him to ensure implementation of the decision and submit a compliance report.

The letter said that the commission has come to know that Ali Amin Gandapur, during his speeches at various public gatherings in Azad Kashmir, besides announcing development packages worth billions of rupees, also made offensive remarks. The decision was taken because the presence of the Federal Minister was not only creating law and order problems but also endangering human lives.

He had asked the Chief Secretary to expel Ali Amin Gandapur from Azad Kashmir in a ‘respectful’ manner, otherwise the responsibility for any untoward incident would be shifted to the administration. Party (PPP) Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Ali Ahmed Karim Kundi has been issued an arrest warrant. The notification said that Ali Ahmed Karim Kundi should be arrested and produced on February 4.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has sent orders in this regard to DPO Dera Ismail Khan. A fine of Rs.

The statement said that Ali Ahmed Karim Kundi was constantly violating the code of conduct and therefore he was summoned on February 1 but despite the notice, Ali Ahmed Karim Kundi did not appear.

Ordering the PPP MPA to appear before the Sessions Judge on December 4 at 10 am, he said that if he appears before the Sessions Judge and submits one lakh bail bonds and abides by the orders of the Election Commission, he will be released. Can be released

It may be recalled that the local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are being held in two phases, the first of which was held on December 19 in 17 districts and the PTI was defeated while the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam had a clear lead.

Court: Trump is not inviolable, but does not yet have to provide tax information

The US president is not inviolable, but President Trump does not have to give the New York Public Prosecutor access to his financial data for the time being. That is the result of a ruling by the United States Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court, by a majority of 7 to 2, ordered that he should hand over his financial data to the judiciary, but that he can still defend himself before the district court. The case has therefore been referred back to a lower court.

Prosecutor Cyrus Vance requires access to Trump’s tax records and accounts to determine whether he has committed any criminal offenses and, for example, has taken money from foreign powers for his election campaign.

The court ruled that Trump should not block the transfer of the data, because a sitting president in criminal matters is not entirely inviolable.

This part of the ruling is seen as a defeat for Trump, whose lawyers argued that a sitting president is entirely inviolable. Vance speaks of a “huge victory” because it has been found that “not even a president is above the law.”

Possibly after the elections.

But in fact, the court has referred the case back to a lower court, says correspondent Marieke de Vries. A district court must decide whether Trump should hand over his details to the prosecutor. This can take weeks and possibly until after the elections.

In tweets, the president says he thinks it is “unfair” to spend more time as a president on a case before a lower court.

In another case, Congress asked for access to Trump’s financial records. The Supreme Court says that the request is formulated too broadly. The court also referred to this. A district court must decide what Congress can ask for.
Trump has always opposed access to his financial records. It already played a role in the election campaign. Other candidates always gave insight into their financial trade and conduct.
