2018 is here and so it is once again time to predict which startups will take the tech industry by storm. We contacted a few VC’s who have their eyes on startups in Pakistan. So here are the top 5 startups that will boom in 2018.

Patari: 

Patari is Pakistan’s largest music portal that has been playing an important role in bringing back music in Pakistan. Patari has been creating original content as well. It is the first digital media platform in Pakistan that pays royalties to the artists.

Find My Doctor:

Find My Doctor claims to be Pakistan’s first healthcare startup. Launched in 2016, Find My Doctor has been playing a very important role in Karachi, Pakistan. Their at home services have been doing really well and have been providing healthcare at a very reasonable price and at doorstep. They had recently raised $200,000/- as well.

Bykea:

Bykea is the Pakistani ride hailing service that provides services through motor bikes and also does delivery of packages as well. Recently, Careem also launched it’s bike service in Pakistan. According to our sources, Bykea does around 4000 rides per day.

SimSim:

SimSim is a digital payment platform in collaboration of FINCA Microfinance Bank Limited and FINJA Pvt. Limited. SimSim has made lifes very easy.
